What is touch screen?

Touchscreen or Touch screen are the usefull to give the command or to control the function of the device.
The Touch screen technology is the replacement of mouse and keyboard.
You can use the Touch screen with stylus or with your fingers also. Touchscreen are commonly come in smartphone, gaming consoles,pc etc.

Touchscreen are of two types Resistive touch screen and  Capacitive touch screen

How do resistive touch screen work?

1) Resistive touch screen:In Resistive touch screen you can touch using only the stylus or any other objects like pen. Resistive touch screen contain two layers first is normal layer and second layer is capacitive layer.

When you touch the first Layer then first layer and second layer come in contact then resistance from and system UI gives response to your touch,but some time it does not work properly because contact between first and second layer is not completely occur hence you have to push screen with force using stylus.
The Resistive touch screen are use in ATM

How do capacitive touch screen work?

The capacitive touch screen are very easy to use.We can use the  capacitive touch screen with fingers and also with stylus.The human body can conduct the electricity and this function of body is use by capacitive touchscreen. When you touch mobile screen then mobile UI gives response to the touch

Eric Johnson, of the Royal Radar Establishment, located in Malvern, England, described his work on capacitive touchscreens in a short article published in 1965^[8][9] and then more fully—with photographs and diagrams—in an article published in 1967.
